Toys R Us "Ketchup" Display
Last month, DCPH had a successful toy exhibit in cooperation with Toys R Us and PinoyToyKolektor. The venue was the 4th level of Robinson's Galleria mall, near our local Toys R Us branch.
The exhibit lasted for a week and ended with a swapmeet last September 30.
Here's some pics of the cars I brought for display.

My instructions were to display miniature cars of different scales. Instead of just grabbing random cars from my collection, I just decided to stick to the color red.
Why red? Well, most of the stuff available from my stash were red. I also decided to stick to two types of Volkswagens - the classic beetle, and the T1 transporter. I was thinking of including some red New Beetles, but the space alloted for my display can't handle more cars.

I brought around 40 red Volkswagens of different scale, but only managed to squeeze in less than 30 items.

Ingress was at 9PM, but the display cabinets arrived late, around 11PM. And to make matters worse, I was assigned to a red cabinet! This really affected the visual impact of my red collection.

It was a great event, though, both the exhibit set-up and the swapmeet proper. I really wish for ample space at home to display my collection properly, instead of keeping these cars in stacked cardboard boxes...
